Hello again Mustangs!

Our next home meet is Thursday and we're excited to be hosting Atlanta Athletic Club. We’ll have a quick turn around and do it again next Tuesday as well! A few home meet reminders...

We will be first to warm up at 4:30, so please be at the Athletic Center in time to park and be ready to swim at that time. This applies to all home meets.

Please adhere to all posted signage and reserved parking spots when you arrive for the meet. We will have parking attendants to help guide you. If the parking lot is full and you must park on the street, please park only on the golf course side of Steeplechase Lane, not on the side with the houses. Also a reminder that the Adult and Kids’ pools are closed during swim meets. If kids want to cool off on the edge of the Kids’ pool that is permitted.

Please remember this week we are honoring Emerson Podojil and the Smasherson Foundation. We encourage everyone (especially swimmers!) to wear purple for the meet. We’ll have some special purple food and beverage offerings and information on the Foundation available.

We will also serve our usual swim meet food and beverages menu. 

As you all know it’s going to be another hot one this week, but luckily the forecasted temperature has dropped a few degrees over the past few days. We are planning to hose down the pool deck before the start of the meet, please also have your swimmers wear flip flops to keep their feet cool. Please plan to bring a refillable water bottle, etc. for everyone in attendance. We will have coolers of ice water out on the deck for you and your swimmers to refill, and lots of bottled water available for purchase. Please do not go through the Athletic Center lobby to the Tennis ice and water dispenser as we need that dispenser available for ALTA tennis matches that evening.

As always, we can't have swim meets without lots of volunteers! Thank you to those who have already signed up, we still have spots available so visit the Signup Calendar and help out with the meet!

As in past weeks we will post heat sheets and event sheets on the Signup Calendar for this week's meet once they are available, sometime Thursday afternoon.

We are planning a Swim Team Party next Wednesday 6/29 from 5-7pm, we'll have more information out on that soon!  ASA Championships are next Friday at 4pm, please sign up if you want to participate!
