Hello Mustangs!

We would like to invite the entire Mustang family to join The Smasherson Foundation to support kids with cancer. Starting this week (6/13), we will collect gifts for two boys (15 and 2 years old) who are starting radiation treatment later this month. The gifts can be found on the sign-up genius or the Amazon Wish List below. We will wrap these gifts at practice on Friday June 17th...after donuts of course :)

If you'd like to participate, please bring your gift to practice on the 17th. If you select the Amazon option, gifts will be sent directly to Smasherson and we will bring them on Friday.

The Smasherson Foundation was founded to honor Emerson Podojil, Coach Regan's little sister and Mustang swimmer who courageously fought a battle with an aggressive brain tumor. Our mission is to fund new, novel and fresh thinking within Children's Healthcare of Atlanta's Pediatric Neuro-Oncology unit who, on average, diagnose a new pediatric brain tumor every other day. We are also committed to provide comfort and hope to children and families fighting all types of cancers.

Also, we are happy to announce that for the 3rd year in a row, we will also be celebrating Emerson's amazing legacy during the home swim meet on Thursday, June 23rd, where we will wear purple piggy's to honor our sweet angel - more details to come.
